Top mobile phones under 20,000 in India: Buying a smartphone can be a difficult task if you are looking for a phone that costs under 20,000. This is because there are several powerful smartphones in this price range, offering a plethora of capable features such as processing power, battery life and good camera performance. However, there are some smartphones that do stand out among the large number of devices launched under the 20,000 mark this year.

Smartphones don’t have to cost a lot of money to offer good performance and battery life. Thanks to increased competition in this segment, the prices of devices has fallen, while the specifications have improved over the years, with companies offering AMOLED screens, high refresh rate, Snapdragon 700 series processors, large batteries and high-resolution cameras -- including a 108MP camera sensor.

When it comes to specs, the iQOO Z3 is one of the toughest phones to beat in this price segment. The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 5G chipset, a 64MP+8MP+2MP rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. The device supports charging the built-in 4400mAh battery at 55W. It is available in 3 colour variants - Cloud Oxygen, Deep Space, and Nebula. iQOO is selling the smartphone in three variants in the country – it starts with the 6GB/128GB variant which is priced at 19,990, followed by the 8GB/128GB variant which is priced at 20,990, and finally the 8GB/256GB variant, which is priced at 22,990.

2. Motorola Moto G60 Price 17,999 (6.8-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 732G SoC, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 108MP camera, 6000mAh battery)

The Motorola Moto G60 smartphone is the company’s most powerful device in the G-series and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor, a 108MP+8MP+2MP real camera setup. The device comes with a 32MP selfie shooter on the front side. The screen supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device comes with a 6000mAh battery that can be charged at 20W, while it also comes with support for QuickCharge 4 compatible charging. The device is available in two colour variants - Dynamic Gray, Frosted Champagne. The Motorola Moto G60 is priced at 17,999 and is available in a single 6GB/128GB RAM and storage variant.

3. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Max Price 18,999 (6.67-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 732G SoC, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage, 108MP camera, 5020mAh battery)

One of the best budget devices from Xiaomi launched this year, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Max comes with a Snapdragon 732G processor under the hood. It has an Super AMOLED display that refreshes at 120Hz. Like the Moto G60, this device doesn’t support 5G connectivity, but it does come with a 108MP+8MP+5MP+2MP quad camera setup and a 16MP selfie camera on the front. The device is also IP53 rated for dust and splash protection, while the 5020mAh battery can be charged at 33W with the built-in charger. The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is sold in three colour variants - Dark Night, Glacial Blue, Vintage Bronze. You can buy the device at 18,999 for the 6GB/64GB variant,   19,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant and 21,999 for the highest 8GB/128GB variant.

4. Realme 8 Pro Price 17,999 (6.4-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 720G SoC, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 108MP camera, 4500mAh battery)

The Realme 8 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, which is a step down from the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, but it does come with a 108MP+8MP+2MP+2MP rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie shooter. While it also comes with a Super AMOLED display, it does not support the 120Hz refresh rate like Xiaomi’s offering. The device has a 4500mAh battery that can be charged at 50W, while the company says the device can be charged up to 50 percent in 17 minutes and 100 percent in 47 minutes. It is sold in three colour options - Infinite Blue, Infinite Black, Punk Black, Illuminating Yellow. The device is sold in two RAM and storage combinations – a 6GB/128GB variant priced at 17,999 and a 8GB/128GB variant priced at 19,999.

5. Infinix Note 10 Pro Price 16,999 (6.95-inch FHD+ display, Helio G95 SoC, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 64MP camera, 5000mAh battery)

One of the largest devices on this list, the Infinix Note 10 Pro has a 6.95-inch display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 processor. The device has a 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP rear camera setup, along with a 16MP camera for clicking selfies. While the device has a 5000mAh battery under the hood, it charges at 33W, similar to the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max. It is available in three colours - Black, Purple, Nordic Secret. The Infinix Note 10 Pro is priced at 16,999 and is available for purchase in the country in a single 8GB/256GB RAM and storage configuration.
