Google and Qualcomm collaborate to accelerate AI development - VentureBeat

Hear from CIOs, CTOs, and other C-level and senior execs on data and AI strategies at the Future of Work Summit this January 12, 2022. Learn more

Qualcomm today at its Snapdragon Summit 2021 announced a collaboration with Google Cloud to bring the latter’s Neural Architecture Search to Qualcomm platforms. The move is designed to speed up the development of AI models at the edge.

Qualcomm claims the announcement will make it the first system-on-a-chip (SoC) customer to offer the Google Cloud Vertex AI Neural Architecture Search services. It will first be available on the Snapdragon 8, Gen 1 Mobile Platform, followed by the Snapdragon portfolio across mobile, IoT, automotive, and XR platforms.

As AI/ML hardware has become more widespread, attention has turned to the software stack, which often consists of point solutions. Optimizing develops MLOps workflows for AI and with this collaboration, Qualcomm aims to speed up the development of AI models for Snapdragon at the edge.

Google Cloud announced Vertex AI Neural Architecture Search in May as a unified platform for developing, deploying, and maintaining AI models. According to Google, training models with Vertex AI required almost 80% fewer lines of code compared to other platforms. Google claims it’s the same toolkit that is used internally to power Google, ranging from computing vision to language and structured data.

Vertex AI consists of various tools, but Qualcomm specifically called out the Neural Architecture Search. As the name implies, it seeks to optimize AI models. Vertex AI NAS will be integrated into the Qualcomm Neural Processing SDK, and will run on the Qualcomm AI Engine.

“With this collaboration, Qualcomm Technologies will now be able to build and optimize new AI models in weeks rather than months, and we’re thrilled at the impact this will have on people using Snapdragon-powered devices,” June Yang, vice president of Cloud AI and Industry Solutions at Google Cloud, said in a statement.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 unveiled with new ARMv9 CPU cores, new Adreno GPU architecture - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com

Qualcomm unveiled its next-generation chipset for flagship Android devices and it brings improvements across the board. In a way, it is a clean break from previous designs as it switches over to the new ARMv9 instruction set and a new naming scheme. We won’t have to wait long to see it in action, the first commercially available phones with the new chip will come out before the end of the year.

Meet the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 – that’s the new naming scheme, digit for class (8 being flagship) and a generation. It is Qualcomm’s first 4nm chipset and the first to use this new generation of the CPU architecture. There is much to talk about the camera hardware, so we’ll break that out into a separate article.

The CPU maintains the three cluster design, however, the cores are now based on the ARMv9 designs. This means that the prime core is a Cortex-X2 and it will run at 3.0GHz. Backing it are three performance cores based on the Cortex-A710, those will run at 2.5GHz, and four efficiency cores based on the A510 running at 1.8GHz.

Overall, the new CPU will be 20% faster than the one in the Snapdragon 888 while also reducing power usage by up to 30%.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 unveiled with new ARMv9 CPU cores, new Adreno GPU architecture

Moving over to the GPU, the new Adreno promises a 30% performance boost and up to 25% power saving thanks to its new architecture. Qualcomm actually developed three Elite Gaming features, one of which will allow developers to strike a balance between performance and power efficiency.

The Adreno Frame Motion Engine allows the GPU to render a game at double the frame rate while using the same amount of power. Alternatively, it can keep the FPS the same while cutting power draw by half.

Another new feature is desktop-class volumetric rendering. Volumetric lighting is used for dramatic lighting effects, e.g. the God rays that level designers seem to love so much. Also new is Variable Rate Shading Pro, an image-based VRS that should streamline the integration of VRS into more games. Qualcomm has partnered with some of the largest game developers to ensure their games make the best out of the hardware.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 unveiled with new ARMv9 CPU cores, new Adreno GPU architecture

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 features an integrated X65 5G modem, which supports both sub-6 and mmWave operation and can deliver theoretical peak speeds of 10 Gbps. For the first time it also supports carrier aggregation for the uplink.

Local connectivity enjoys Wi-Fi 6 and 6E support, plus improvements to Bluetooth. The new chip can stream CD Lossless Audio over Bluetooth LE. It supports Bluetooth LE Audio, which represents a major advancement over existing tech. The Broadcast Audio feature allows one source to broadcast one or several audio streams to an unlimited number of receivers. Stereo recording will also be supported along with voice-back channels.

Qualcomm also worked to improve the security of the chip by introducing the Trust Management Engine, which will sit below the hypervisor (which was introduced with the 888). The TME will remain secure even if the security zones above it are compromised.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 unveiled with new ARMv9 CPU cores, new Adreno GPU architecture

The first flagships powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will launch before the end of the year, expect announcements soon.

Leak: the Honor 60 Pro will have larger display and a 50MP ultra wide camera - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com

A leak from yesterday detailed the Honor 60 specs, but the Pro variant managed to keep its secretes. Until today that is, as leakster Ishan Agarwal has discovered what the upgrades will be over the vanilla model.

The Honor 60 Pro will feature a 50 MP sensor in its ultra wide camera (sensor size unknown). The lens will have an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus, allowing it to shoot macro photography. For comparison, the vanilla model will have an 8 MP sensor. The selfie camera on the front may be another upgrade with a 50 MP sensor (it’s just that the selfie cam on the vanilla phone is unknown).

Other than that, the Pro model will feature the same 108 MP main camera on its back and a 2 MP depth sensor (meaning that zooming duties fall on the main sensor).

Honor 60 Pro renders: Bright Black and Juliet Honor 60 Pro renders: Starry Sky Blue and Jade Green
Honor 60 Pro renders: Bright Black and Juliet • Starry Sky Blue and Jade Green

Also, the chipset processing the images from these cameras will be the same Snapdragon 778G+. Buyers will be able to choose between 8 GB and 12 GB of RAM, storage will be 256 GB. The phone is expected to run Android 11 with Magic UI 5.0 out of the box.

The Pro model will also have a larger display, 6.78” (up from 6.67”). It will be an OLED panel with 1080p+ resolution (429 ppi) and a high but unspecified refresh rate. The renders show a quad-curved display, whereas the display on the vanilla model was curved only on the sides.

Strangely, the Honor 60 Pro will have a slightly smaller battery with 4,500 mAh capacity compared to its sibling (4,800 mAh). And that’s apparently not a concession made to enable faster charging, the rumored specs claim the same 66W.

The Pro model will measure 163.9 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm and weigh 192g, making it slightly bigger than its sibling. It will be available in four colors as seen in the renders above: Bright Black, Juliet, Starry Sky Blue and Jade Green.

The Honor 60 duo will be officially unveiled in China tomorrow, so stay tuned for pricing details.

Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.5 Update: What is the Release Date? - GiveMeSport

It was confirmed by the CD Projekt Red President that we would be seeing Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 Patch in the near future, but when will the new patch be released?

The game has been undergoing a number of different patches and hotfixes since the release of the AAA title back in 2020.

This looks set to continue even throughout 2022, as CDPR want to make sure that they give the game as long a shelf life as possible.

Adam Kicinski, the President of CD Projekt Red, recently confirmed the latest regarding Patch 1.5 whilst speaking to Polish publication, Rzeczpospolita.

Here’s everything you need to know about the release date of Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.5.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 1.5 Release Date

Whilst we do not currently have a concrete date for the 1.5 Patch of the game, we do know that it will be coming in the first quarter of 2022.

Kicinski revealed the following during his recent interview, saying (translated): "This year, we will no longer be releasing any updates to the game.

“We are working intensively on the version for the latest generation of consoles, which will be released in the first quarter of 2022 along with a major update - patch 1.5.

"The decision to postpone the next-gen version of Cyberpunk was difficult, but we are convinced that it was right, the more so because it clearly resulted from the recommendation of our development team."

As noted, the 1.5 Patch will likely be released around the same time as the Next-Gen update for the game, as technically it is currently optimised for PS4 and Xbox One.

We’re expecting that this will take the release of Patch 1.5 into March/early April of 2022, as the developers will be looking to ensure that the Next-Gen version of the game is practically flawless, removing any potential worries that players have of the soft reboot of the game being as glitched out and bugged as the OG release back in 2020.

We will update this page as and when CDPR makes the official announcement regarding the release date or it is leaked beforehand!

Oppo Reno7 and Reno7 Pro price in India leaks - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com

Oppo unveiled the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro for the Chinese market last week, and now the wait begins for them to eventually arrive in other places as well. A new report today claims that the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro will debut in India in January, leaving the Reno7 SE behind for some reason.

Not just that, but this rumor also gives us some price ranges for the two phones of the series that will make it to India. Allegedly, the Reno7 is to be priced between INR 28,000 to INR 31,000, while the Pro model will go for anywhere between INR 41,000 to INR 43,000.

Oppo Reno7 Pro Oppo Reno7 Pro

But wait, there's more! Apparently the company will also unveil a new pair of true wireless earbuds for the Indian market, priced similarly to the Enco X, which is currently going for INR 9,999. The Watch Free should be launched in India alongside the new earbuds and the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro as well.

To recap, the Reno7 has a 6.43-inch 90 Hz AMOLED screen, the Snapdragon 778G SoC, 8 or 12 GB of RAM, 128 or 256GB of storage, a triple rear camera system (64 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide, 2 MP macro), a 32 MP selfie camera, and a 4,500 mAh battery with 60W charging support.

Google Announces Best Android Apps, Games of 2021 in India; BGMI, Clubhouse Among Top Titles - NDTV

Google on Tuesday continued its trend of announcing the winners of the Google Play Best of 2021 awards in India that are dedicated to apps and games listed on Android's official app store. The search giant named Bitclass — the app enabling cohort-based learning — as the ‘Best App of 2021', while the battle royale game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has been picked as the ‘Best Game of 2021'. Google also announced the audio app Clubhouse as the Users' Choice App of 2021 on the basis of user votes.

Developed by Bengaluru-based entrepreneurs, Bitclass has been chosen as the Best App of the year in India by Google Play editors. Google said that the app indicates “the emergence of a digital learning culture in India fuelled by innovative localised solutions.”

Bitclass offers a variety of online classes ranging from baking and dancing to personal finance and theatre acting. These classes are available in both free and paid versions.

“In India, once again, we saw a diverse range of apps help people across the country with relevant – and often unique – solutions to their daily needs. This year, we saw a distinctive rise in e-learning, with many winners finding creative ways to help India learn a range of skills online, be it mastering a passion through celebrity-led virtual classes with FrontRow, or using AI to scale student learning outcomes with Embibe,” said Brett Bouchard, Global Head of Editorial, Google Play in a blog post.

FrontRow has been titled the ‘Best App for Fun' of 2021, while Embibe is named among this year's ‘Best Apps for Personal Growth'.

Google has also this year announced the best apps for tablets and wearables. In India, Houzz, Canva, and Concepts: Sketch, Note, Draw are the three ‘Best Apps for Tablets' of 2021, whereas My Fitness Pal, Calm, and Sleep Cycle: Sleep Analysis & Smart Alarm Clock are titled the ‘Best Apps for Wear'.

As the pandemic has continued the push for health and well-being among Android users in India, Google has picked Jumping Minds as one of the ‘Best Hidden Gems', Evergreen Club as well as Being among the ‘Best Apps for Good', and Sarva yoga app among the ‘Best Apps for Everyday Essentials' this year.

Earlier this month, Google kicked off the Google Play Users' Choice Award 2021 and has declared Clubhouse as the ‘Users' Choice App of 2021' in India. The achievement shows the country's rising fondness for voice and audio-based platforms, the Android maker said.

You can look at all the apps that are awarded among the Best Apps of 2021 by Google by visiting its dedicated section on Google Play. Here's the list.

On the gaming front, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) from Krafton has been awarded as the ‘Best Game' of the year in India, while Garena Free Fire Max has been named as the ‘Users' Choice Game' of the year.

“Gaming continued to gain significant interest in India, with many across the country enjoying a range of thrilling and imaginative gaming experiences,” Bouchard said.

Just like the case of best apps, Google has this time introduced ‘Best Games for Tablets' to highlight tablet-focussed games. Chicken Police, My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge, and Overboard! are amongst the ‘Best Games for Tablets' of the year in India.

‘Best of 2021 Games in India' on Google Play

Best Games for Tablets

It is important to point out that winners of Google's best apps and games on Google Play differ across regions. This means that the ones you have in India are not available with the same title in other markets.

In the US, Google called Balance as the ‘Best App of the year' and Pokemon Unite as the ‘Best Game of the year'.

Google said that the Google Play's Best of winners globally represent “the gold standard” in app and game development. The company also claimed that it selected the winners across the developer ecosystem “to reinforce that a great app or game can come from anywhere, whether you're a large or a rising developer.”

However, it is worth mentioning that the selection of these best apps and games is at the discretion of Google Play editors, except the case of ‘Users' Choice' titles that are picked on the basis of user votes.

Google told Gadgets 360 that Google Play's editorial team selected the Best of 2021 winners after taking into consideration new apps and games with high quality and high user ratings, as well as unique use cases.

Last year, Google announced Sleep Meditation for Calm Sleep by Wysa as the ‘Best App' of the year and Legends of Runeterra as the ‘Best Game' of the year in India.

Realme GT 2 Pro channels Nexus 6P with camera visor design - 9to5Google

It appears that the Realme GT 2 Pro is channeling the Google Nexus 6P with a design that takes more than just a few design cues from the former flagship.

Renders have come courtesy of Steve Hemmerstoffer AKA @OnLeaks and 91Mobiles, with a list of specifications that hint at a very competitive flagship smartphone. The Realme GT 2 Pro is a follow-up to the impressive Realme GT, which was released in selected markets earlier this year.

The device name was confirmed by Realme CEO Sky Li on Twitter, but thanks to this leak, we now know just what to expect from the upcoming flagship. We’ll see a flat 6.8-inch WQHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and it is said to be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage are also expected here.

As for the Nexus 6P-style protruding camera visor at the rear of the Realme GT 2 Pro, it will come with a 50-megapixel main sensor, 50-megapixel wide-angle, and 8-megapixel telephoto zoom lens. No details were shared on the actual camera sensors used, but this would provide a major step up over previous Realme devices. The selfie camera is rumored to be rated at 32 megapixels.

The Realme GT 2 Pro is also expected to ship with Realme UI 3.0 atop Android 12. According to this report, the device could also come with insanely fast 120W charging, too. Launch details are not yet known, but OnLeaks suggests that pricing could be around the $799 mark in selected regions.

Walmart’s hosting a PS5 and Xbox Series X restock for subscribers today - The Verge

Walmart is back with a Cyber Monday console drop. Starting at 12PM ET / 9AM PT, you can have a go at snagging a PlayStation 5 (both the $499.99 disc-based version and $399.99 digital version are available) or the $499.99 Xbox Series X console.

To get this early access to boost your chances of getting a console (though it’s no guarantee), you’ll need to be a paying member to Walmart Plus, starting at $12.99 per month. To reiterate, members sampling the free trial will not get early access.

Here are the links, with more details about this restock beneath them.

Hey, if you miss out on a chance to get the Series X, it might help during the holidays that the smaller, less-powerful Series S is more readily available and costs less at $299.99. It lacks a disc drive and has half the storage of the Series X (512GB), but it has many of the same features as the high-end console. It targets 1440p resolution for some content, and it can boost certain games up to 120 frames per second, but it could be a great fit for someone who still uses a 1080p TV or monitor.

In case you don’t know the drill at this point, make sure you’re logged in to your Walmart Plus account, with the correct payment method and shipping address entered in ahead of time.

Add these to your cart

What’s a console without extra games, controllers, or accessories? One that isn’t nearly as fun to use as it should be. Load these items into your Walmart cart ahead of time, so you can get it all at once when the consoles drop. Though, in some cases, you can find better deals at other retailers.

After MagSafe, Apple Is Working On A New Wireless Charging Tech - News18

AirPower was first unveiled in September 2017. (Image: YouTube / David Krasniy)

The new charger will succeed Apple's AirPower that was first unveiled in September 2017 but never hit the markets.

Apple is still reportedly working on a charger that can power multiple devices, say an iPhone, AirPods, and Watch simultaneously. The new charger will succeed Apple’s AirPower that was first unveiled in September 2017 but never hit the markets. Apple had announced it is discontinuing AirPower as the charger didn’t achieve the company’s high standards. The device was essentially a mat looking Qi charger, capable (theoretically) of charging three Apple devices at least. The company unveiled its new take on wireless charging tech with MagSafe last year with the Apple iPhone 12 series.

The latest development comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, in the latest edition of his Power On newsletter. He writes, “I also believe Apple is working on short and long-distance wireless charging devices and that it imagines a future where all of Apple’s major devices can charge each other. Imagine an iPad charging an iPhone and then that iPhone charging AirPods or an Apple Watch." Details on the new wireless charger remain unclear, and its tentative launch date is also a mystery. However, this isn’t the first time Apple has been said to be working on a new wireless charging tech.

Back in March 2020, months before the launch of MagSafe, YouTuber and tipster Jon Prosser claimed that “AirPower isn’t dead" and that the project was “back on internally." The tipster added that Apple “has not given up yet" and is attempting to “re-engineer the coils" to displace heat more effectively. Despite having a decent track record, his information turned out to be fake, and a prototype image he shared turned out to be a clone device that’s not an AirPower and not designed by Apple.

Some reports even suggest that Apple might bring reverse charging tech on the next iPhones to let users charge AirPods or Apple Watch by simply placing them on the rear panel of the phone. However, Apple only uses large batteries on the ‘Pro Max’ models and to let iPhone juice accessories like earbuds, the phone would require a relatively bigger battery, thereby either increasing the thickness or weight of the device.

Spotify's Simplified Car View Mode, That Made Listening While Driving Simpler, Is Being Shut - ABP Live

New Delhi: Back in 2019, Spotify had launched a special Car View mode for its Android app, which featured a simplified interface with larger buttons to make it simpler for people to operate the app while driving. The company is now officially retiring the Car View mode, according to reports.

The news was recently confirmed by a moderator post on the official Spotify forums and was spotted by Android Police.

The post reads, "We can confirm that we're retiring the Car View feature. This, however, doesn't mean we don't want to improve on how our users listen to Spotify while driving." Spotify is also actively exploring a variety of new ways to deliver the best in-car listening experience, according to the post.

The Car View mode was meant to prevent drivers from being distracted while driving. Irrelevant elements like menu buttons and album art were removed by the Car View mode when a person connected the app to the car over Bluetooth. However, Spotify is removing the Car View mode to "make way for new innovations", the company said in the post.

Spotify Is Going Hands-Free

Work is happening "backstage" on "improving the experience" in the car, the post said. One can also use Google Assistant or Siri to launch songs on Spotify while driving, the moderator suggested.

The Spotify interface can be directly accessed on the screen if one's car stereo dashboard supports Android Auto or Apple CarPlay.

Since there are other ways to handle music playback in cars, Spotify is de-prioritsing the Car View mode.

Spotify Pushing People Towards Car Thing

Some Spotify users mentioned in the forum thread that the company could be trying to push people towards Car Thing, which is the smart player from Spotify that fills one's car with music, news, entertainment, and talk, among others.

The Car Thing may be helpful in the absence of the Car View mode. However, the Car Thing may not be needed because one can simply mount the phone on the car and control Spotify directly.

Vivo V12 Series Design Tipped via Leaked Images; Spotted on TENAA, 3C Listings - NDTV

Vivo S12 series' launch seems imminent as images of the smartphones have surfaced online. The upcoming smartphone series is said to comprise two smartphones — the vanilla Vivo S12 and the Vivo S12 Pro. A tipster has shared an image of the former being listed on an e-commerce website that shows the front and rear design of the smartphone. Earlier this month, another tipster shared a live image of the Vivo S12 Pro. The two Vivo S12 series smartphones have also allegedly received TENAA and China's 3C certifications.

Tipster Ankit (@TechnoAnkit1) has shared images of the upcoming vanilla Vivo S12. Ankit has also tipped that the smartphone will be launched next month in China. The images shared are blurry but the design of the smartphone is evident. The vanilla Vivo S12 is shown with what seems like a curved display that gets a big notch. At the back, the smartphone is shown with a triple rear camera setup housed vertically in a rectangular module. The image shows the Vivo smartphone in a gold colour option.

Earlier this month, tipster Arsenal (translated) shared a live image of the Vivo S12 Pro. The image doesn't reveal much about the upcoming smartphone apart from the front. The Vivo S12 pro is shown with a big notch that shows two sensors for the selfie camera. The tipster mentions that one of the sensors will be a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor. The smartphone will also get a curved display with a tall aspect ratio, as per the images.

Another tipster, Panda is Bald (translated), shared the internal model designation of the Vivo S12 series. The vanilla Vivo S12 will get v2162a while the Vivo S12 Pro will get v2163a, as per the tipster. Furthermore, the two smartphones have also allegedly received TENAA and 3C certifications. The former - which doesn't mention the specifications — lists both upcoming smartphones, but the latter only lists the Vivo S12 Pro. The 3C certification suggests that the Vivo S12 Pro may be 5G-enabled and get 44W fast charging support. The two listings were spotted by Gizmochina.

Top 7 Smartphones To Buy Under Rs 40,000 From Xiaomi, OnePlus, Apple and More - News18

Buying flagship smartphones in India isn’t a dream anymore, and there are plenty of options available in the Rs 40,000 category. Many smartphones in this range now come with 120Hz display, fast charging support, and decent cameras. Some of these smartphones even feature Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 chipset that powers some premium devices like Mi 11 Ultra and OnePlus 9 Pro. In case you’re looking for an affordable flagship at around Rs 40,000, here are seven phones you can consider.

OnePlus 9R at a price of Rs 39,999

We’ll start with the OnePlus 9R that made its debut in the Indian market earlier this year. It features a 6.5-inch Fluid AMOLED display that has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Its 48-megapixel main camera is capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps. OnePlus recently launched the OnePlus 9RT 5G that is rumoured to debut in India soon.

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G at a price of Rs 30,000

The most affordable phone on the list, the Samsung Galaxy M52 5G features the Snapdragon 778 SoC, a popular mid-range chipset. The smartphone may also be available with a price cut on select e-commerce sites. It sports a large 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen, and at the back, there are triple cameras. The 5,000mAh battery unit supports 25W fast charging. (Review)

Vivo X60 at a price of Rs 37,990

Next on the list is the Vivo X60 5G that sports a 6.56-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh. Under the hood, it carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset that also powers OnePlus 9R 5G. The rear panel gets a 48-megapixel primary camera with OS but no Gimbal stabilisation. (Review)

Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro at a price of Rs 39,999

When it comes to flagship killer status, Xiaomi is OnePlus’ biggest rival in India, especially in the Android phone space. The Xiaomi Mi 11X Pro comes with a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It draws power from Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 SoC and the triple rear camera setup houses a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 sensor. We also get a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging and reverse charging at 2.5W.

iQoo 7 5G at a price of Rs 31,990

Similar to the OnePlus 9R and Vivo X60, the iQoo 7 5G also carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset but a comparatively smaller 6.62-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. Its triple rear camera system houses a 48-megapixel primary camera, and we also get a 4,400mAh battery with 66W FlashCharge fast charging support.

Realme GT 5G at a price of Rs 37,999

Realme launched the ‘most affordable’ Snapdragon 888-powered Realme GT 5G earlier this year that comes with a 6.43-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Users can choose between three colour options, and the triple rear camera system includes a 64-megapixel primary camera. There’s a 4,500mAh battery unit that supports 65W fast charging. Unfortunately, the internal storage is maxed out at 128GB.

iPhone SE 2020 128GB at a price of Rs 34,999

If you want to continue to use an iPhone, then the most affordable device in this range is the iPhone SE from last year. Fortunately, the phone is set to receive future iOS updates, and the proprietary A13 Bionic chipset should be able to carry out tasks with minor stutters. It comes with a 12-megapixel camera at the back and a 7-megapixel front camera for selfies. There’s no 5G support though we get wireless charging. The phone also features an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance.

(SOLD OUT) The Apple AirPods Pro (2021) are on the biggest sale ever right now - PhoneArena

The Apple AirPods Pro are on the biggest sale ever right now
Update: Both the AirPods 3rd gen and AirPods Pro 3rd gen have since been sold out.
Apple has unfortunately never been willing to join the Black Friday deals madness of the rest of the American market—at least not to the extent of other retailers. While the Cupertino company is holding a weekend-long gift card giveaway with product purchases, Apple refuses to actually acknowledge Black Friday weekend or offer any real sales on its website.
That doesn't stop third-party retailers from offering mouth-watering discounts on Apple products, however, and we've just stumbled upon one of the biggest sales on Apple's AirPods Pro we've ever seen. This one is found on Amazon, and sees a massive $80 chopped off the premium wireless earbuds' retail price.

This is the third generation of AirPods Pro, which was just released last month, making this offer an even rarer event than if it was any other AirPods model. It's always difficult to find price cuts on such brand new item releases, and Amazon is currently offering these much sought-after earbuds for only $169.99, while they usually retail for $249.00.

This puts them on the exact same price as the 3rd gen of Apple's regular AirPods (the non-Pro kind), which are also on sale for $169.99 right now.
While the regular AirPods are simply great-sounding earbuds with great battery life, the AirPods Pro 3rd Gen also feature top-tier active noise cancelation, "Hey Siri" integration, and a Transparency Mode that instantly takes you out of your music bubble and allows you to hear and interact with the world around you normally, when the need arises.

The earbuds also feature adaptive EQ and three pairs of different-sized soft silicone tips, to ensure that at least one of them is a perfect fit for your ears. Needless to say, both the AirPods 3rd Gen and the AirPods Pro 3rd Gen are water and sweat-resistant, making them both ideal for outdoor exercise in the rain.

Here are the two best Black Friday deals on the AirPods and AirPods Pro below:

Best Buy US has always embraced the shopping spree spirit around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year is no exception. We have a nifty, yet non-exhaustive table of deals for you below. The retail titan actually has quite a few Apple promos going. You can get up to $725 off a vanilla iPhone 13 and up to a whopping $900 in savings from an iPhone 13 Pro. The same is generally true for the up to $400 of savings on a new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G or Z Flip3 5G. The deal on those is further sweetened by a pair of free Galaxy Buds2 wireless headphones.

Best Buy US has some sweet Cyber Week deals

If you are not in the market for a phone, but would rather get a laptop or tablet instead, the deals are more straight-forward on average. You just get a nice kickback of up to $500 on select MacBook Pro models and up to $150 on MacBook Air. Samsung laptops and Surface devices are up to $500 and $400 off, respectively and you can get nice deals on other Windows machines as well. Plus, some Chromebooks, if you are into that. Tablet savings are on the table as well, with up to $150 off of an iPad Pro. Best Buy also has a trade-in program for up to $200 off the Apple Watch Series 7.
