Don't like the looks of your iPhone notifications? Change it with this iOS 16 feature - HT Tech

If you didn’t like the new style of iOS 16 notification on your iPhone, then you can actually make it look better. Here’s how.

Long-term iPhone users must be aware of the notification panel, which used to take up the whole display. Thanks to the iOS 16 update, notifications are now stacked at the bottom of the display. The new lock screen look allows you to customize widgets and notifications which seems way cleaner than before. However, there are many users who don't like how notifications have changed the appearance of their displays. Which is completely fine! If you don't want to keep the stacked-up style of notifications, then know that the iOS 16 update has several other options too!

You can turn the notification style on your iPhone exactly the way that you want it. This applies to most iPhones, including the latest iPhone 14, iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11, or any other iOS 16-supported device. You can go with the classic list format which most iPhone users used to check notifications, else, these notifications can simply appear in the form of numbers, which is the count of notifications. Don't worry, changing these notification styles can be done in simple steps. Check the step-by-step guide here.

How to change notification style on an iPhone

Step 1:

Ensure that your iPhone is updated to the latest version of iOS 16. After that, you can alter the way notifications are displayed on iOS 16's lock screen.

Step 2:

Now, Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

Step 3:

Tap on the Notifications option.

Step 4:

Here, it will open up the Display As section at the top of the screen. You will simply need to select the option that you want to opt-out from Stack, List, and Count.

List View: If you are in love with the previous style of notification which used to be there prior to iOS 16, then select the list view.

Stack View: If you have updated your iPhone to iOS 16, then you must be using this style of notification. It keeps the notifications placed at the bottom of the display while bundling them all in one place.

Count View: This will completely hide all your notifications and show only the total number at the bottom with a cleaner view.
