By Divya Bhati: Chinese smartphone maker Tecno Mobile has launched another premium smartphone in India under its Phantom X2 series. Dubbed as Tecno Phantom X2 Pro, the flagship smartphone is priced under Rs 50,000 and features a retractable portrait lens camera for closer shots and a slim and light body.
The smartphone also features a 6.8-inch HD curved AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and runs on Android 12 OS.

Tecno Phantom X2 Pro price and availability in India
Tecno Phantom X2 Pro is one of the most expensive smartphones launched by the company yet. It is priced at Rs 49,999 for the sole 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model, and comes in two colour options-- Moonlight Silver and Stardust Grey. The smartphone is available for pre-booking on the e-commerce site Amazon and at retail stores. The phone will go live on sale on January 24.
Early buyers can also avail an additional Rs 5,000 exchange bonus, 12 months of Amazon Prime membership and 6 months of no-cost EMI option. Techno is also offering a free Tecno gift hamper and no-cost EMI option to the first 600 customers who will buy the new Tecno Phantom X2 Pro through retail outlets.

With the high-end price point, Tecno has included a range of premium features in the new Tecno Phantom X2 Pro. The smartphone comes with a 6.8 inch full HD curved AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Victus protection. The Phantom X2 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 5G SoC paired with Mali-G710 MC10 GPU and Hyper Engine 5.0.
The chipset comes paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage with an additional 5G expandable RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 12 based on HiOS 12.0 skin out of the box and boasts a 5160mAH battery with USB Type-c for 45W fast charging option.
At the back, the Phantom X2 Pro houses a triple camera system with 50MP main camera with a Samsung ISOCELL GNV 3.0 sensor, a 13 MP ultrawide unit that doubles as a macro shooter, and a 50 MP telephoto camera with a retractable lens. The retractable feature of the main camera is surely a highlight of this flagship phone and is claimed to help better closer shots by moving out from the camera hose and retracting near to the subject for close, depth shots. For selfie, The Phantom X2 Pro offers a 32MP camera resting in a punch-hole cutout.
