Samsung launches Galaxy A05 with 5000mAh battery, 50MP primary sensor and 25W fast charging support - Times of India

Samsung has expanded its Galaxy A series smartphone lineup with the launch of its entry-level smartphone -- Galaxy A05 -- in India. The handset is one of the most affordable handsets in the company’s portfolio and it features a 6.7-inch HD+ display, 5000mAh battery and 50MP primary camera.
Samsung Galaxy A05: Price and availability
Samsung has launched the Galaxy A05 at a starting price of Rs 9,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB variant.The top-of-the-line 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 12,499. The handset will be available pan India via Samsung exclusive stores, Samsung.com and other online portals.
Samsung is also offering a special offer on purchase of the newly launched Galaxy A05. As a part of the offer, buyers can avail no cost EMI via Samsung Finance+ and through EMI options with bank cards and NBFC’s. Additionally, consumers can get limited time period cashback worth INR 1000 using SBI credit cards.
Samsung Galaxy A05: Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A05 features a 6.7-inch HD+ display. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity G85 processor. In terms of design, the handset features Samsung’s recently adopted individually placed lenses at the back.
The handset is available with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Additionally, it comes with RAM Plus feature that allows users to expand the RAM capacity by up to 6GB virtually.
Galaxy A05 is equipped with a dual rear camera setup of 50MP and 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there’s an 8MP sensor.
The handset is backed by a 5000mAh battery and the company claims that it will offer two days of battery life in a single charge. Also, the smartphone supports 25W fast charging.
Samsung has also integrated security features like face unlock with the phone.
