OnePlus 10 showed up in a leaked photo - Gizchina.com

OnePlus released its flagship unusually early this year, and only the OnePlus 10 Pro. This smartphone will only reach a number of countries in the global market by the end of March and the company plans to release the uber-flagship OnePlus 10 Ultra. But what about the OnePlus 10?

According to online sources, OnePlus is currently working on a smartphone codenamed “Oscar”. It is assumed that it will enter the market as OnePlus 10 and its premiere may take place in the second quarter of this year. And today, a picture of the back panel was posted online, which may well belong to the 10 version. The insider who posted the photo online claims that industry sources helped get it.

In the picture itself, we see a panel in the upper left corner of which they installed a rectangular block of the main camera, where the main sensor is huge. There are three more holes that can be used for other sensors; among which there will definitely be an ultra-wide-angle one.

At the moment, this is all that is known about the OnePlus 10. We can only speculate that the smartphone will offer Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, at least 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory, 80 W fast charging and a 120 Hz AMOLED panel.

OnePlus 10

The OnePlus 10 Pro flagship smartphone was launched in China earlier this year. OnePlus recently unveiled the 10 Pro Extreme Edition; which will be offered exclusively in white (the regular version came in green and black); as well as with more memory than the original model. Reception of pre-orders for the new product has already started, and retail began on March 1.

The OnePlus 10 Pro Extreme Edition will only be available in one configuration: 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Recall that the maximum amount of RAM OnePlus 10 Pro is the same 12 GB; but the storage capacity does not exceed 256 GB.

Also, the rest of the device has not changed. The smartphone retained the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a 1440p AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.7 inches and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The main camera, created in collaboration with Hasselblad, has remained unchanged, which combines a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 main sensor, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor and an 8-megapixel module with 3.3x optical zoom.

The 10 Pro Extreme Edition variant will cost just over $900. The company has not yet announced when the smartphone will enter the global market.

Where to buy a replacement S Pen for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra? - XDA Developers

Samsung’s new Galaxy S22 Ultra is the most interesting phone out of the S22 lineup mainly because it’s the first Galaxy S phone with an integrated S Pen, marking it as a successor to the Galaxy Note lineup. The Galaxy S21 Ultra from last year only had support for the stylus, but no place to store it. The new phone changes that with a slightly wider body to accommodate an S Pen. We suggest you check out our Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra review to know what we make of its design after using it for a couple of days.

While it’s fantastic that the Galaxy S22 Ultra now comes with a slot to store the S Pen, there’s no denying that it’s relatively easy to either lose or damage the stylus. Because, you know, life happens. Well, if you lose the S Pen or it gets damaged somehow, you’ll need to buy a replacement unit for your Galaxy S22 Ultra. There’s only so much that’s covered under warranty, so you may have to pay out of pocket if you need a replacement.

Black colored Galaxy S Pen Pro

Luckily, you can get a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra S Pen replacement pretty easily. You can either buy the simple replacement unit of the S Pen that was included with your Galaxy S22 Ultra or you can get the Samsung S Pen Pro that was announced alongside the last year’s Galaxy S21 Ultra. The S Pen Pro is a bit pricier than the one that’s included with your phone but it can be used with all the S Pen compatible devices including Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and PCs. If you are a heavy S Pen user, you’d get better use out of the Pro, but it’s the regular replacement pen that will fit inside your phone.

The S Pen Pro is Bluetooth enabled and is rated for 16 days of battery life with 50 minutes of charge time. You can check out the links to purchase both S Pen variants below, so feel free to pick the one that works best for you. We’d recommend getting the integrated S Pen for the Galaxy S22 Ultra since otherwise you would be left with an empty silo, which would look rather odd.

If you lost or damaged the Galaxy S22 Ultra S Pen included with the phone, you can buy this as a replacement unit.
    Samsung S Pen Pro Stylus
The Galaxy S Pen Pro is a more advanced version of the accessory that's included with your phone. This one works with all S Pen-compatible devices.

If you want to learn more about what the Galaxy S22 Ultra stylus can do, then be sure to check out our write-up detailing the S Pen features. Xiaomi Mi Band 7 might include a larger, always-on display and new power saving features - Android Police

Not everyone needs a full-fledged smartwatch. Options like the Galaxy Watch4 are great if you want a proper companion to your smartphone, but if fitness tracking capabilities are all you need, then a fitness band might suit you a lot better. They're notably more basic in design and features, but they're also way cheaper. Xiaomi's Mi Band lineup makes for some great options, competing directly with the likes of Fitbit. The latest entry, the Mi Band 6, launched last year, and thanks to a new leak, we now have some info on what its successor might look like.

Magical Unicorn, who gave us tantalizing details on its predecessor before launch, discovered some info on the upcoming Mi Band 7 by looking through the Zepp app. It shows us the device model names (M2129B1 & M2130B1) and CMIIT IDs (2022DP1794 & 2022DP1805), as well as confirmation on the final branding (Xiaomi Smart Band 7). There are some immediate differences we can gather from here. First off, a slight change to the screen size. One of the Mi Band 6's main improvements over its predecessor was its taller, higher-resolution 152x486 display. Its successor will go one step further with a 192x490 screen. The device will also come with at least seven different watch faces, along with an always-on display feature utilizing a simple, black-and-white watch face.

Some strings in the app also hint at some upcoming features. You might be able to protect your band with a passcode for extra security, along with a "smart alarm" feature returning from the original Mi Band that will "calculate the optimal time to wake you from light sleep within 30 minutes before the set alarm." We might also get a new battery saver mode to stretch the band's lifespan even longer, along with GPS support for tracking runs and other exercises.

It's a tantalizing slate of features, and if it has a similar price as previous units — you can currently grab the Mi Band 6 for less than $50 — it might be a mighty fine option for those of you who don't feel like splurging over $200 for an actual smartwatch.

iPhone SE 3 release date tipped ahead of Apple’s March 8 event - India Today

Just yesterday, Apple confirmed that it will be hosting its 2022 Spring event on March 8, where it is expected to announce a few products, including the third generation of iPhone SE. Now, just a few days before the official unveiling, the release date of the iPhone SE 3 has been tipped - all thanks to the leaked accessory listing.

The tempered glass screen protector of the same device has reportedly been spotted on Belkin's official website, suggesting that the brand is indeed planning to launch the new version of the iPhone SE at the upcoming Apple event. iMore has shared a screenshot of the listing that says “Protective Glass Film for Belkin iPhone SE (3rd generation)” is on sale.

The listing also says that the smartphone will be released on March 10, just one day after the launch event. However, it seems unlikely, as Apple products usually go on sale after a few weeks. The mentioned date could be for the pre-order and the sale of the iPhone SE 3 might take place later in the month.

The render in the screenshot also shows that the iPhone SE 3 will retain the old design, backing the previous leaks. It is said to come with chunky bezels on the top and bottom. It will likely feature a physical home button with Touch ID. It could come with the same display that you get with the iPhone SE 2020.

The iPhone SE 3 might have a 4.7-inch display, which will likely disappoint some users, as these days you get more than 6.2-inch displays even in the budget segment. The good thing is the device will be powered by Apple’s latest 5nm A15 Bionic 5G chipset, which is also powering the iPhone 13 series. It will have support for 5G.

The leaks so far suggest that the third generation of the iPhone SE will continue to have a single camera at the back. It is said to offer a 12-megapixel sensor. Under the hood, there will also be an external X60M 5G baseband chip, which will reportedly deliver a better photography experience. It is still unclear whether Apple will offer 64GB or 128GB as a base storage model. The company started offering 128GB as a base variant with the iPhone 13 series that was launched last year.

As for the pricing, analyst John Donovan claims that the upcoming iPhone SE 3 could come with a starting price of $300, which is around Rs 22,604 in India. However, the device is expected to cost more than Rs 30,000 in the Indian market because of custom duty and GST charges. The iPhone SE 2020 was launched in the US for $399 (approximately Rs 30,500) and the handset went on sale in India for Rs 42,500.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra First Impressions- Noteworthy Android Flagship Of 2022 - Gizbot

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Box Contents

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Box Contents

Following Apple's footsteps, Samsung has drastically reduced the in-box content for its premium smartphones. The Galaxy S22 Ultra ships with just a Type-C to Type-C data cable in the box along with some documentation and a SIM card ejector tool. You might have an old Type-C fast-charging brick and a pair of headphones handy; however, you will still need a third-party case and a screen protector for the new handset.

Samsung could have at least offered a basic phone case and a screen protector in the box because these accessories aren't easily available right after the official launches.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Design

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Design

The Galaxy S22 Ultra is one giant of a smartphone. It is bigger than most Android flagships and demands two hands for comfortable use. If you were not a Note user before, you will take some time to adjust to this gigantic form factor. The phablet has a bigger footprint than the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, iQOO 9 Pro, and most premium Android flagships launched in the past year. It weighs 228 grams and has a thickness of 8.9mm.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Durability- IP68 Rated Design

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Durability- IP68 Rated Design

The top and bottom edges are flattened and the side frame has gentle curves to ease the handling to some extent. The hardware buttons offer excellent clicky feedback. The phone feels uber premium and also scores high on durability. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a layer of the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ at the front and the device (Phone & Stylus) is IP68 certified for protection against dust and water damage. The back also has a layer of toughened glass.

Neat Rear Camera Layout

Neat Rear Camera Layout

These camera lenses look very interesting. I think this neat camera layout looks even better than what we have on the S21 Ultra. Good job here Samsung. The S-pen housing is at the bottom left corner along with the down-firing speaker unit, Type-C charging port, microphone, and the SIM card tray. The phablet is available in three color variants- Burgundy, Phantom Black, and Phantom White. The white shade is only available in 12GB + 256GB configuration.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Display

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Display

The Galaxy S22 Ultra's 6.8-inch QHD+ display is gorgeous. The Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is an excellent panel for binge-watching videos, doodling, note-making, playing games, and performing all those day-to-day phone-related tasks. The QHD+ panel is extremely bright and has a claimed peak brightness of 1,750nits that lets you read text, use the camera, and watch videos even under direct sunlight without any visibility issues.

The screen also aces the refresh rate game with its 120Hz adaptive refresh rate technology which goes down to 1Hz to save battery life. Overall, the 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel is simply one of the best smartphone displays in the market. We will discuss more on the screen performance in our comprehensive review.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Cameras

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Cameras

I noticed some significant improvements in the camera performance, especially in the far-field zoom picture quality and portrait lens output. The cameras on the Galaxy S22 Ultra deliver zoom shots with better clarity and less pixelation. The 3x and 10x optical zoom pictures are very much usable for social media platforms. Even the 30x images come out decent and are some of the best zoom shots captured on a smartphone camera.

Better Portraits Than Before

Better Portraits Than Before

Moving on, the portrait camera output has improved in terms of background separation and the overall bokeh effect. Skin tones look natural and images show excellent colors and a wide dynamic range. We are still testing the quad lens (108 MP + 10MP + 12MP + 10MP) camera and more insights will be given in our detailed review.

The S-Pen

The S-Pen

The little accessory, i.e. the built-in stylus transforms this Galaxy S22 Ultra into a Note device. The new S Pen comes with some fine upgrades. The latency is reduced to the point that it almost feels like writing on a piece of paper. You can take notes, translate from different languages, sketch, and can even transform writing into the text format, which is very convenient. We are still exploring all the fun and work we can do on the built-in stylus.

Galaxy S22 Ultra Hardware & Software

Galaxy S22 Ultra Hardware & Software

The new Galaxy S22-series drops the Exynos chipsets in India and ships with the latest 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Mobile Platform. We are testing the 12GB+256GB variant and as expected, the performance is lag-free and the phone handles everything without any hiccups. We are stress testing the handset by playing the most demanding games, recording videos in 4K and even 8K, editing 4K videos on the native gallery app, and using it for heavy multitasking.

Up To Four Generations Of Android OS Upgrades

Up To Four Generations Of Android OS Upgrades

So far we haven't encountered any issues on the phablet except minor heat signatures with long gaming sessions. The phone runs on Android 12 out-of-the-box. The entire Galaxy S22 series will be supported by up to four generations of Android OS upgrades, which shows that Samsung is serious this time and taking some big steps in improving the software performance of its flagship devices.

5,000mAh Battery With 45W Fast-Charging Support

5,000mAh Battery With 45W Fast-Charging Support

Coming onto the battery, the phablet has a 5,000 mAh battery cell that supports 45W fast charging. The battery seems to be giving us a day's backup with moderate usage, which is pretty decent but could have been better.

Moreover, the 45W fast-charging is an improvement but is still far behind in terms of speed and innovation in today's time. For instance, Oppo has showcased its 240W fast-charging technology that promises to refuel a phone's 4,500mAh battery in less than 10-minutes.

Should You Buy The Galaxy s22 Ultra?

Should You Buy The Galaxy s22 Ultra?

The Galaxy S22 Ultra has us impressed in whatever little time we have spent with the handset. It's a mighty big phablet with a gorgeous Quad HD+ display, excellent cameras, powerful hardware, and an extremely useful S-Pen. It is the fusion of the Galaxy S-series and the Note-series and could be the ideal Android flagship of the year 2022? But will it be? We will find this out in our detailed review, so stay tuned.
