More good news for iPhone users. It has been reported that just by using the iPhone camera, Google Fit will help users to track and measure their heart rate and more. Users will just have to place their finger on the rear camera lens and apply light pressure to measure their heart rate. Notably, users do not need an active internet connection to use this feature. So, when can we expect these features? Well, iPhone heart rate tracker and breathing rate tracker will be coming soon. 

So, how to check your heart rate on an iPhone? 

Well, Google Fit heart rate tracker was first introduced to the Pixel phones. And now the iOS users will also be able access this feature. Users will have to place their finger on the iPhone camera and turn on the flash to allow the Google Fit app to measure their heart rate. Turning on the flash would reportedly measure more accurately.

The app would take nearly 30 seconds to measure your heart rate when you place your finger on the rear camera, hence, keep your finger there for a bit longer than that. Once removed, you will be able to see the preview graph and BPM on the screen. You can either do away with the details or save them for future references.

Additionally, Google Fit for iOS has also received another update that will allow users to keep track of the number of breaths. Through the Google Fit breathing rate tracker, users will be required to face the front camera of their iPhone. One must keep their phone on a stable surface so that their head and upper torso is visible and unobstructed. Once done, the app will guide you about the steps to follow next. Upon revealing your head and upper torso, the app calculates your respiratory rate from subtle chest movements.

Google has earlier introduced the features for Android users only. Later on, the health and respiratory features were rolled out to the Pixel phones and now it will be available for iOS users as well. However, Google Fit is yet to update its app page on Apple’s App Store and hence the users will have to wait for some more time.

Though these features will help users to track their heart and breathing rate but one must note that it cannot be used for purpose of medical diagnosis.

The iPhone SE 2022 5G is expected to launch sometime in early 2022 to succeed the iPhone SE 2022. Here's what we know about it so far.

The iPhone SE 3 has been long in the rumours and even got analysts talking already! Apple is yet to announce anything officially on this front but tipsters and analysts have spoken a lot about the iPhone SE 3 5G. Expected to be called the iPhone SE 2022, the biggest addition to this compact iPhone is said to be the 5G connectivity.

The iPhone SE 2022/iPhone SE 3/iPhone SE 5G is most likely to be a mildly updated iPhone SE 2020. This means those customers who still prefer the compact dimensions of the current iPhone SE and older iPhone 6 models will likely have another chance to get a similarly sized new iPhone.

iPhone SE 3 5G: What we know about it so far

-First of all, the name. The iPhone SE in 2022 could be called the iPhone SE 2022, or the iPhone SE 5G, or the iPhone SE 3. Given that Apple calls the current model the “new” iPhone SE, we expect a similar designation for the 2022 model.

-The most significant upgrade is expected to be the 5G chip from the iPhone 13. Apple could give this phone the A15 Bionic chip from the iPhone 13, which will enable 5G connectivity and same levels of performance.

-While the 5G chip will be a new addition, the rest of the iPhone SE 2022 is likely to remain unchanged. That means you could see the same 4.7-inch display accompanied by the Touch ID fingerprint scanner.

-The 4.7-inch display is likely to retain the IPS LCD panel with True Tone technology. The display is expected to have fat bezels around it.

-The iPhone SE 2022 is also expected to stick to the Touch ID system instead of adopting a Face ID system like more expensive iPhone models.

-Apple is expected to retain the same camera sensors too. That means you could see a 12MP main rear camera and a 7MP front camera.

-The new iPhone SE is expected to retain the same battery capacity and the Lightning port. However, no in-box charger will be provided this time.

-Other miscellaneous features of the iPhone SE 2022 are expected to be IP67 water and dust resistance, wireless charging, stereo speakers, and support for up to six years of iOS updates.

Note that these are all based on the rumours and leaks, and none of the information has been confirmed by Apple.

BGMI gamers alert! Krafton will now ban devices of users cheating in game - Zee News

New Delhi: Krafton has revealed that the developer will start banning devices used by gamers cheating in one of its popular battle royale games in India - Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). The developer has clearly stated in its new policy that gamers using software to cheat in BGMI will ban their devices permanently. 

Previously, Krafton used to sanction the offending accounts, instead of banning them permanently. The Korean-based developer made the new policy official via a blog post on BGMI’s website. 

“If the use of illegal programs is detected with a mobile device by the newly applied security logic, the device will be permanently banned from using BGMI,” Krafton had announced on its website.

Krafton also pointed that previously the gaming developer only banned the accounts of the gamers found cheating. However, from now on, BGMI will now ban the devices of such users. 

“Up until now sanctions were given only to the accounts, but now the mobile devices will be banned as well, making fair gameplay far more effective,” Krafton said on its official website. 

Moreover, the Korean company also revealed that so far, approximately one lakh BGMI accounts have been banned permanently for cheating in a six-day time frame. With the new policy, the gaming developer must be expecting that the number of cheating cases will come down. 

The updated policy on cheating users will indeed make it difficult for gamers, using illegal methods to win in the game, to make a comeback after their device gets banned. They will now need to buy a new device and make a new account to play BGMI again by bypassing the new rules. DuckDuckGo aims to launch privacy-focused desktop browser; that will be available on Mac - Free Press Journal

Privacy-focused search engine DuckDuckGo is working on a dedicated desktop browser that will be available on the Mac.

Key features of the browser

The browser will "redefine user expectations of everyday online privacy." It will ditch individual privacy settings in favour of an approach that enables privacy protections by default across search, email, and general browsing, the company claims.

"It is not a 'privacy browser'; it is an everyday browsing app that respects your privacy because there is never a bad time to stop companies from spying on your search and browsing history," the firm said in a statement.

The desktop browser will sport a clean and simple interface with the Fire button from the mobile versions, which instantly clears all tabs and browsing data with just one click.

The browser is currently in a closed beta test on macOS, but DuckDuckGo is getting it ready for Windows as well. There's no word on when the desktop browser will become publicly available.

According to the company, compared to Chrome, the DuckDuckGo app for desktop is cleaner, way more private, and early tests have found it significantly faster too.

DuckDuckGo has been selected as the default search engine in the highly-secure chat platform Tor Browser, and is often the default search engine in the private browsing modes of several other browsers.

The phone packs a 5000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. It is said to house a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and an IR blaster. Connectivity features include 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB Type-C.

Redmi Note 11 4G price (expected)
