Realme GT 5G series India launch is set for August 18. In the latest episode of AskMadhav, Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth announced the launch date for the company’s flagship GT 5G series. Previously, Sheth hinted that at least four GT series phones would be coming to India through a teaser, but the August 18 launch will see just two of them, the GT 5G and the GT Master Edition. The GT 5G is the first smartphone in the series, while the GT Master Edition is the latest one.
Sheth had told India Today Tech that the GT 5G series in India would start at around Rs 30,000, so I am guessing that is for the base variants. In China, the GT 5G starts at CNY 2,799, which translates to roughly Rs 31,400. The GT Master Edition, on the other hand, was launched recently as the company’s camera-focused phone for CNY 2,399, which is approximately Rs 27,500. The starting prices for both the phones are around the Rs 30,000 figure.
