It looks like Realme Pad, the first tablet by Realme, is going to be launched soon as it has appeared in a listing on Geekbench with the model number RMP2102, as per a report by GizChina.
Coming to the revealed specs of the device, the Realme RMP2102 is supposed to have MediaTek’s MT6769V/CU octa-core chip with six CPU cores and two CPU cores clocking at 1.80GHz and 2.0GHz, respectively, which points to the Helio G80 chipset. The tablet is expected to come with 4GB of RAM and run Android 11 OS with Realme UI on top.
The Realme RMP2102 got 326 in the single-core test and 1144 in the multi-core test. Some of the other specs that the tablet could have, as per the Geekbench listing, are a 10.4-inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate, an 8MP front camera, an 8MP rear camera, 64GB native storage and a 7,100mAh battery. The tablet may feature quad speakers and could also pack in a stylus.
As of now, there has been no confirmation about the tablet arriving in India. A tablet bearing the same model number as the one that has appeared on Geekbench had earlier appeared at certification sites like India’s BIS which makes a strong case for the tablet launching in India. As for the pricing, it is expected to be around Rs 20,000 (about $272) in India which still makes it a bit pricey for the casual buyer. It, however, will give the customers something new to look forward to as the Android tablet market is besieged with tablets from Samsung and Lenovo predominantly.
