iQOO Z5 5G launch date in India has been revealed. It will come as a successor to the iQOO Z3 that was released in India a few months ago. The company appears to have skipped the 4th generation in the Z-lineup as the number 4 is considered unlucky in China. The iQOO Z5 5G will launch in India on September 27th at 12 PM IST and the company has posted a teaser image, that reveals the rear design of the iQOO Z5. It has a triple camera setup, with an LED flash housed in a rectangular module and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The phone can be seen in a Blue colour option but there could be other options at launch.

There’s an additional 3GB of virtual RAM. The phone runs on Android 11-based iQOO UI custom skin and packs a 4,400mAh battery with 55W fast-charging support.

The iQOO Z3 5G has a triple-camera setup on the back, with a 64MP (f/1.79 aperture) Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor with LED flash and EIS, an 8MP (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor. It has a 16MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
