Motorola is set to introduce the Moto Edge X30 next week as the world's first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered smartphone. According to GSM Arena, it hasn't detailed the smartphone's specs sheet yet, but a company official has shared a live image of the Moto Edge X30, showing off the slim bezels around its centered punch hole display.
Additionally, Motorola's official Weibo account posted a short video clip revealing the Moto Edge X30's screen specs: 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 certification, and 1 billion colors.
Motorola hasn't told anything about the screen size and resolution, however previous leaks claimed it will measure 6.67" diagonally and have FullHD resolution. Something that was also corroborated by a reliabletipster.
The company has not shown what the Moto Edge X30's rear will look like. But leaked renders revealed the smartphone, expected to launch as Edge 30 Ultra outside China, will sport a triple camera system on the back panel consisting of 50MP primary (with OIS), 50MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth units.
For selfies and video calls, there will be a 60MP camera inside the punch hole, capable of recording 4K videos.
The Moto Edge X30 will be officially unveiled on December 9 and go on sale in China from December 15, but Motorola hasn't revealed when the smartphone will make its global debut, as per GSM Arena.
Motorola Moto G51 5G coming to India on December 10
Motorola is launching the Moto G51 5G in India on December 10. The company's Indian branch confirmed the launch date on Twitter. The company has not revealed the Indian pricing of the gadget yet, but it has confirmed that the smartphone will have two colour options in India and will be sold through Flipkart.
According to GSM Arena, Motorola Moto G51 5G is the world's first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 480 SoC. It boots Android 11 and comes with up to 8GB RAM and up to 128GB storage onboard. It is still unclear what trims the smartphone will be available in India.
The Moto G51 5G packs a 6.8" 120Hz FullHD LCD and ships with a 5,000 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port at up to 10W, as per GSM Arena.
The Moto G51 5G comes with a total of four cameras - a 13MP selfie shooter inside the punch hole (16MP on the Chinese model), with the 50MP primary camera on the rear joined by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro units.
GSM Arena informed that the smartphone has a water-repellent design, comes with Dolby Atmos support, and has a 3.5mm headphone jack onboard. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for password-less unlocking.
