The iQOO 9 series unveiled in China last month will begin its global rollout on February 23, starting with India. The lineup will include the vanilla and Pro models in India joined by a new SE variant. iQOO hasn't detailed the specs sheets of the global units of these smartphones yet, but the company's Indian branch today confirmed that the iQOO 9 lineup will launch with a 4,700 mAh battery and 120W charging in the Asian country.
That's hardly a surprise since the Chinese iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro also have the same battery size and charging speed. But it's good news for the Indian fans since the iQOO 7 Legend launched in India last year, which is a rebranded Chinese iQOO 7, charged slower at 66W instead of 120W.
iQOO hasn't explicitly mentioned if all three smartphones in the lineup will pack 4,700 mAh cell and support 120W charging, but the image posted by iQOO India on Twitter shows a smartphone with a curved screen, hinting at the iQOO 9 Pro, while its official website confirms that the vanilla model will come with 4,700 mAh battery and 120W charging like its Chinese counterpart.

That leaves us with a question mark over the iQOO 9SE's battery capacity and charging speed, but we'll likely find that out in the days leading to the February 23 event.
The rest of the previously confirmed iQOO 9 lineup's specs include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, 50MP GN5 Gimbal Camera, 50W wireless charging, 2K E5 AMOLED display, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and an Intelligent Display Chip, advertised to offer a 90 FPS gameplay experience on 60 FPS games through interpolation.

It's needless to say that not all of these specs will be available across the series and there will be some differences. And while we wait for iQOO to reveal more about the international iQOO 9 units, you can check out the detailed specs of the Chinese iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro here.
