Samsung Galaxy M53 image leaks - GSMArena.com news - GSMArena.com

The Samsung Galaxy M53 was expected to launch in Vietnam on March 27, alongside the M23 and M33. And while those two did arrive on schedule, the M53 is nowhere to be seen.

Instead of an official look at the phone, here is a leaked image. The M53 looks quite different from the Galaxy A53 5G, the design language matches the Galaxy M33 instead with a square quad camera bump in the corner and an LED flash below.

That camera bump is supposed to contain a 108 MP sensor in the main module, by the way. That’s is Galaxy A73 5G’s headline feature (since it lost its telephoto camera). Additionally, there should be an 8 MP ultra wide camera and two 2 MP helpers (macro and depth). As for the front facing camera, expect t osee a 32 MP sensor.

Samsung Galaxy M53 (leaked image)
Samsung Galaxy M53 (leaked image)

The A73 also has a large 6.7” display – the Galaxy M53 is rumored to have the same diagonal and same refresh rate of 120 Hz. Does that mean that the M53 is really an alternative to the A73 and not the A53? It looks that way.

The M-series model was spotted running Geekbench with the Dimensity 900 chipset. This 6 nm chipset should be comparable to the unnamed 5 nm chipset that Samsung uses in the A53 and A73 (the one that everyone speculates is the Exynos 1280), but we'll find out if that is the case after testing both.

Even the battery appears to be the same with 5,000 mAh capacity and 25W fast charging.

The Galaxy A 2022 models are launching in India one by one. We still don’t have a price for the A73, but the A53 starts at ₹35,000. The Galaxy M53 is rumored to cost VND 10.5 million in Vietnam, which converts to the same amount in rupees. This suggests that the M53 will be a cheaper alternative to the A73. Let’s just hope it has wider availability than the A-phone, as that one is a rare sight (at least for now).

Oppo F21 Pro Series to Launch in India on April 12: All Details - News18

The Oppo F21 Pro will come in a Sunset Orange colour. (Image: Debashis Sarkar / News18)

The Oppo F21 Pro will include a 64-megapixel primary along with two more sensors.

The Oppo F21 Pro series will launch in India on April 12, the company revealed earlier today. The launch of the latest Oppo F-series smartphones is taking place almost exactly a year after the debut of Oppo 19 series. The new series will include Oppo F21 Pro 4G and Oppo F21 Pro 5G, but it remains unclear whether we’ll see the launch of Oppo F21 Pro+ 5G. The official website highlights the design and we can notice the phones in a Sunset Orange leather rear case.

Notably, the rear camera module will include a 64-megapixel primary along with two more sensors. The secondary camera has a ring light for notification alerts that takes inspiration from Oppo Reno 7 Pro and Reno 7 5G. The rear module further has a dual-tone finish, at least for the Sunset Orange variant, which is quite rare among smartphones.

Other details of the smartphone remain unclear, and the company will share more details in the coming days. Notably, the Oppo F21 Pro 4G variant looks similar to the Oppo Reno 7 4G that launched in Indonesia earlier this week. If the speculation is accurate, we can expect the device to feature a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The triple rear camera setup may include a 64-megapixel primary sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors. On the front, it may carry a 32-megapixel selfie sensor. Connectivity options may include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC.

Realme Smart TV Stick with Full HD Support to Launch in India Soon; Listed on Flipkart - Beebom

realme smart tv stick 4k

Realme will soon launch another smart TV Stick to compete with the likes of the Mi TV Stick and FireTV Stick in India. The new Realme Smart TV Stick has been spotted on Flipkart, and as per the listing, will launch in India on April 7 along with the Realme GT 2 Pro. Here are the details.

New Realme Smart TV Stick India Launch on April 7

The Flipkart listing shows a Realme streaming dongle similar to the first Realme Smart TV Stick, which was launched last year and is already available in India. However, there are a number of differences.

To start with, the new Realme Smart TV Stick will come with support for a Full HD screen resolution instead of 4K support. Hence, we can expect the device to be a toned-downed variant of the first Realme Smart TV Stick and expect it to be priced lower than its elder sibling.

realme smart tv stick full hd launch india soon

Another difference is that the new model will run Android TV 11, which has Google TV support. The new dongle will also offer users access to multiple OTT platforms and the Google Play Store. It is also confirmed to pack 1GB of RAM, a quad-core ARM Cortex A35 processor, and 8GB of storage. To recall, the existing Realme Smart TV Stick comes with 2GB of RAM and a dual-core GPU. The CPU and storage configurations are the same.

It is also confirmed to support HDMI 2.0, which is a lower standard than HDMI 2.1 on the Realme Smart TV Stick. Although, it will continue to have HDR10+ support.

As for the price, there’s no word on this but we can expect it to be under Rs 3,000, given that the 4K-supported Realme Smart TV Stick retails at Rs 3,999.

To reiterate, the Realme GT 2 Pro, which is the company’s latest flagship will launch on the same day, as confirmed earlier. The GT 2 Pro comes with a bio-polymer chassis, has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, comes with a number of attractive camera features, and more. To know about the phone’s price in India and details on the new Realme Smart TV Stick, stay tuned to this space for all the updates.

Intel announces its fastest desktop processor: the unlocked i9-12900KS - The Indian Express

Today, Intel announced full details and availability of what the company claims to be the world’s fastest desktop processor: the Intel Core i9-12900KS. Aimed at enthusiasts, creators and gamers, it has a max turbo frequency of 5.5 GHz and features Intel’s Thermal Velocity Boost and Intel Adaptive Boost Technology (ABT).

In comparison to the newly-released i9-12900KS, the i9-12900K launched in October last year could turbo up to just 5.3 GHz. The Intel Core i9-12900KS will begin becoming available at global retailers on April 5th and is priced at $739 globally. The i9-12900K was priced at $589 at launch.

The unlocked i9-12900KS has 16 cores (eight performance cores and eight efficient cores) and 24 threads. It has a 30MB Intel Smart Cache, PCIe Gen 5.0 and 4.0 support and a processor base power of 150W. The chipset will be compatible with the existing Z690 but the company recommends updating the BIOS for the best experience. It supports speeds of up to 4800 MT/s in DDR5 and 3200 MT/s. in DDR4.

“Intel continues to push the envelope for desktop gaming with the new 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900KS processor. Based on Intel’s 12th Gen performance hybrid architecture, this processor can hit 5.5 GHz on up to two cores for the first time, giving the most extreme gamers the ability to maximize performance,” said Marcus Kennedy, general manager of the gaming, creator and esports segment at Intel, in a press statement.

12th Generation Alder Lake processors are built on the new Intel 7 process and are the first ones to utilise Intel’s new hybrid architecture which means they all require the latest Z690 motherboard.

All Alder Lake CPUs, like the Intel core i9-12900KS, use a combination of ‘Golden Cove’ high-performance cores and ‘Gracemont’ power-saving cores which will be utilised based on the tasks performed by the processor.

OnePlus 10 Pro Vs. OnePlus One: How The 'Flagship Killer' Has Evolved - Screen Rant

The OnePlus 10 Pro packs specs that are far more advanced than what the original OnePlus One offered. This highlights quite a monumental leap in progress for the brand, after close to a decade of never settling for anything less than top-grade hardware. The company's very first flagship phone, the OnePlus One, was launched back in 2014 and turned heads with its attractive entry-level price and unique Sandstone finish.

Starting at just $300, the OnePlus One offered a lot more than most flagship phones at the time, and for a lot less too. This included a larger screen, arguably better cameras, and a greeter battery capacity than the likes of competitors like the iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy S5. Sold at half the asking price of these phones, the OnePlus One was a self-proclaimed “flagship killer”. While OnePlus phones are no longer priced as cheaply as they used to be, the OnePlus 10 Pro still aims to deliver the highest standards in terms of hardware, which as per the brand, can continue performing at its peak for years to come.

Related: OnePlus Nord 3 Specs Just Leaked: Here's What To Expect

Just how much has the OnePlus flagship lineup improved over the past eight years? Well, the OnePlus 10 Pro features a huge 6.7-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz display, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Its rear camera setup comprises 48-megapixel, 50-megapixel, and 8-megapixel sensors, and there's a 32-megapixel shooter in the front. The phone features a hefty 5,000 mAh battery. The OnePlus One's specs, on the other hand, included a 5.5-inch Full HD display, 3GB of RAM, up to 64GB of storage, and the Snapdragon 801 processor. It had a single 13MP Sony Exmor camera, a 5MP selfie camera, and an average-sized 3,000 mAh battery.

OnePlus 10 Pro Vs. OnePlus One: Biggest Changes

OnePlus One

While the specifications have naturally progressed with advancements in technology, one of the biggest changes seen on recent OnePlus flagships is the brand's partnership with Hasselblad, the iconic Swedish camera brand that NASA used for its space missions. Another change is in the battery department, with the OnePlus 10 Pro not only featuring a beefier cell, but also ridiculously fast 80W USB-C charging, capable of topping it up from 0 to 100% in about 30 minutes. The phone also features 50W wireless charging, among the fastest in the world. Technology like this simply didn't exist back then.

When it comes to performance, the OnePlus 10 Pro's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor is eight generations ahead of the OnePlus One's chip, and in terms of performance upgrades, a whole lot has improved since then. The software on OnePlus phones has also evolved over the years. While the OnePlus One shipped with Cyanogen OS at launch, a forked version of Android, it later shifted to the OnePlus proprietary OxygenOS. The OnePlus 10 Pro still ships with OxygenOS, but after the merger with OPPO, the software is now based on ColorOS. Another big change has been OnePlus' sales strategy. The OnePlus One was sold via an exclusive invite system, while OnePlus now sells its phones online and in stores globally. However, all the upgrades that the OnePlus 10 Pro offers come at a cost. The reliable headphone jack seen on the OnePlus One has been removed, and the OnePlus 10 Pro price is nowhere close to the brand's original "flagship killer" persona.

What is the Wordle wave, and how has it been going?

  • Wordle brought to everyone by the New York Times is a daily word guessing game.
  • The new five-letter word is to be guessed every day.
  • The user gets around six chances to guess the right word.
  • Hints and clues in the form of letters in the requisite word are generally available to the user in the form of color codes that help one reach a step closer to the word.

The Wordle wave has taken the internet by storm, and the curiously inquisitive audience globally, who never fail to appreciate a challenge, takes it upon themselves to diligently guess the word for the day.

Here are some hints to get you through-

  • The word contains two vowels
  • Wordle 279 starts with the letter D

Some general tips to help you through the game-

Airtel demos 5G scope; recreates Kapil Devs 1983 World Cup innings - Business Standard

Telecom operator Bharti on Monday showcased the possibilities of era, as it harnessed immersive video technology using the next generation network, to recreate in-stadia experience of Kapil Dev's legendary 175-run inning from the 1983 cricket World Cup.

also demonstrated a live 5G-powered hologram as the legendary cricketer's virtual avatar interacted with the audience in real-time from a remote location.

"Using cutting-edge immersive video technologies over its high-speed test network, recreated the in-stadia experience of Kapil Dev's famous 175 not-out vs Zimbabwe during the 1983 cricket World Cup," Airtel said in a release.

The demo brought to life key moments from the match which had no actual video footage due to a strike at that time by TV technicians.

With over 1 Gbps of internet speed, more than 50 concurrent users had a highly personalised 4K video experience of the match on smartphones with real-time access to multiple camera angles, 360-degree in-stadia view, shot analysis and statistics.

Airtel carried out the demonstration at its Network Experience Center in Manesar (Gurugram) using Ericsson 5G gear over 3,500 MHz band test spectrum allotted by the Department of Telecom.

During the demo, a 5G-powered virtual avatar of appeared on the stage and interacted with the audience and walked them through the key moments of his inning.

Randeep Sekhon, CTO, Bharti Airtel, said that gigabit speeds and millisecond latency of 5G is set to transform the way entertainment is consumed.

"With today's demonstration, we have only scratched the surface of the infinite possibilities of 5G and highly personalised immersive experiences in the digital world. With 5G based holograms, we will be able to transport virtual avatars to any location, and this will be a game changer for meetings and conferences, live news, and will have so many other use cases," Sekhon said.

Airtel said it is fully prepared for 5G amid the emerging digital world, and is building a robust pipeline of innovative use cases for India.

Sharing his experience, added: "I am simply amazed by the power of 5G technology and seeing my digital avatar interact with my fans as if I am actually there."

Earlier this year, Airtel had demonstrated the country's first 5G experience over a live 4G network. It has also demonstrated its rural 5G trial as well as the first cloud gaming experience on 5G.

Spectrum auctions are slated to be held in 2022 to facilitate the roll-out of 5G mobile services within 2022-23 by private telecom providers.

The market is gearing-up for the roll-out of 5G services that will usher in ultra high-speed internet and spawn new-age services and business models. Telecom regulator's recommendations on spectrum pricing and other modalities are expected to come soon.

Nothing phone (1) coming this summer, Carl Pei says wants to build an alternative to Apple - The Indian Express

The upcoming phone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, though Nothing has not specified the details. But the focus of Nothing’s event was not just the device, rather it was all about Pei’s vision.

“We’re building the most compelling alternative to Apple. If you want products that connect and work seamlessly together, the only choice is Apple. The MacBook, the iPhone, the AirPods, they are work together the way you want. But as soon as you leave that ecosystem for a Windows PC or an Android phone, it breaks down,” he said during the event, which is an ambitious claim to make and even harder to fulfill. It’s something Google has been trying for a while now, but has not yet achieved that level of success.

In his view, consumers do not have too many choices and this impacts innovations. Nothing plans to change this by building its own ecosystem of products, which the company claims will be different and open. “Our ecosystem will consist of both Nothing products and products other leading brands,” Pei said. He also revealed that the future Nothing phone (1) will work seamlessly with the Nothing ear (1) and even Apple’s AirPods and future Tesla cars.

The ‘Nothing phone (1)’ will be the ‘beating heart of our product ecosystem’, according to Pei. The phone will launch in summer 2022, though an exact date has not been confirmed, and it will be powered by the Nothing OS. Pei stressed that Nothing OS will focus making the device fast, will be without bloatware and with a minimal and harmonious design.

Pei’s speech also indicated that the brand’s plans include more products than just smartphones. The company could have other products such as Smart TVs, smartwatches, etc, though Pei did not specifically mention these at the launch.

The first preview of Nothing OS will be available via its launcher in April, and it will be available to download on select smartphone models. More details about phone (1) will be announced in the coming months.

Meanwhile, the company also announced a $10 million allocation for an upcoming equity-based community investment round at the same valuation as its Series B fundraise co-led by EQT Ventures and C Ventures. This follows Nothing’s first community round which raised $1.5M in a record-beating 54 seconds last March.
