OnePlus, last week, launched the OnePlus 10 Pro as its top-tier smartphone for 2022. The company’s new Android flagship smartphone comes with a new Hasselblad 2.0 48MP triple-camera setup. It also has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Following the launch, OnePlus has officially dropped the price of last year’s flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 9 series.
The previous generation flagship models have received a Rs 5,000 discount. OnePlus has discounted both storage variants of both models. Let’s take a look at the new price of the OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 9 in India.
OnePlus 9 Series Price in India Dropped by Rs 5,000
OnePlus has revised the pricing of the 9 series in India. The 9 Pro is now available at a starting price of Rs 59,999 for the base model. It has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In comparison, the phone was previously available for Rs 64,999. The phone also arrives in a 12GB + 256GB storage option. It is now available for Rs 64,999, as opposed to its launch price of Rs 69,999. The device can be purchased in Stellar Black, Pine Green and Morning Mist.
OnePlus 9, on the other hand, has a starting price of Rs 44,999 for the base model. The 8GB + 128GB model was previously available for Rs 49,999. On the other hand, the 12GB + 256GB model is available for Rs 49,999, down from its launch price of Rs 54,999. The phone can be bought in Winter Mist, Astral Black and Arctic Sky colours.
In comparison, the OnePlus 10 Pro arrives in two storage options. The base model has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is priced at Rs 66,999. There is also a 12GB RAM option with 256GB of internal storage. It is priced at Rs 71,999. The new OnePlus flagship goes on sale starting April 5 via OnePlus.in, offline stores and via Amazon India.
In terms of upgrades, the device comes with a faster 80W fast charging support along with a bigger 5000 mAh battery. The phone also comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
