Xiaomi has unveiled its Xiaomi Book Air 13 in its home country, in addition to the Redmi Note 12 series. As per the company, this is the thinnest Xiaomi laptop with a 360 degree, equippeds with position modes, an Intel EVO certified laptop with a lightweight design, high performance, and a long battery life.
Xiaomi Book Air 13 has a price tag of CNY 5999 ( ₹68,336 approx) for the i5 variant whereas the i7 variant costs CNY 6999 ( ₹79,753 approx.). It is currently unclear whether the laptop will be launched in India or not.
The Xiaomi Book Air 13 features a 13.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2880x1800px resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display gets Gorilla Glass 3 protection along with Dolby Vision. In terms of audio, the Xiaomi Book Air 13 gets Dolby Atmos stereo speakers. Step 6: After you tap on the Blur tool, you should see a blurred box on your image. You can resize it and change its type; there are two types – pixelated blur and gaussian blur. Select the type of blur and resize the blur area as per your wish. Once you are done, you are ready to send your edited image.

India’s cyber-security team, Cert-In (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) has cautioned Apple device owners about vulnerabilities in Apple’s web browser, Safari, and iOS 16.1 that can lead malicious attackers to steal users’ sensitive information. Describing the vulnerability, Cert-In in a press release said that multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in Apple’s iOS and iPadOS that could allow a remote attacker to gain access to ‘sensitive information, execute arbitrary code, and lodge a DoDs attack on the targeted device. The cyber security agency also said this vulnerability is being exploited in the wild and that it could be exploited by an attacker simply by persuading the victim to open a specially crafted file or app.
Affected devices and OS versions: It is affecting all iPadOS versions prior to iPadOS 16 and iOS versions prior to iOS 16.0.3. List of affected devices includes iPhone 8 and later, all iPad Pro models, third-gen iPad Air and later, and fifth-gen iPad Mini and later.
How to safeguard yourself: To safeguard themselves from this vulnerability, iPhone users need to download iOS 16.0.3 and iPadOS 16 or newer on their devices.
Talking about the vulnerability, the cyber-security agency said that successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow the attacker to spoof URLs, disclose sensitive information or execute arbitrary code on the targeted system.
“These vulnerabilities exist in Apple Safari for macOS Big Sur and macOS Monterey due to improper UI handling, type confusion issue and logic issue in the WebKit component; use after free issue in the webkit PDF component,” Cert-In added.
These vulnerabilities are affecting all Safari versions prior to 16.1. Apple device owners can download the latest version of Apple’s web browser to safeguard themselves.

Popular messaging app WhatsApp is facing service outages in major cities across the world, including India.
Several WhatsApp users took to Twitter to complain that they were not able to send messages on the app.
On DownDetector, the outage peaked at around 12:30 pm IST. As the per heatmap, people in cities including Bengaluru, Delhi, Nagpur, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai are facing service outages in India.
The outage is also reported in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Singapore, and other Asian nations.
"We're aware that some people are currently having trouble sending messages and we're working to restore WhatsApp for everyone as quickly as possible," a Meta spokesperson said.

While Google has not revealed the list of phones that will be getting Android 13 Go edition. But it is likely that some of the existing Android Go phones will be eligible for the new software. On an Android device, click on the gallery to select an existing photo or video from your phone. Tap and hold to select multiple images. You can also add captions to photos and videos. Swipe between photos to add captions to each one and finally click on the send icon.
While iPhone users will have to click on the plus icon and then select Photo and Video Library to select a photo or video from your iPhone's photos or albums. After selecting a photo or video, tap Add at the bottom left to select multiple photos or videos at once.
The Cupertino based Apple is all set to roll out another iPhone operating system, iOS 16.1 update on coming Monday, announced the company in a press release. This new update will launch for iPhone users with an iPhone or newer models, and it adds quite a few features that were not available when iOS 16 launched in September.

The iPhone users with iOS 16.1 would be able to subscribe to and access Apple Fitness+ even if they do not have an Apple Watch.
Fitness+ is a subscription service with guided workouts and meditations that costs $9.99 per month or $79.99 annually. The technology giant is offering three months of Fitness+ free with the purchase of a new iPhone, iPad or Apple TV.
Notably, if you work out on Fitness+ without an Apple Watch, you will not be able to see metrics like calories burned, or your real-time heart rate.
The iOS 16.1 update would also include Clean Energy Charging. Apple says this will let users optimise charging for when cleaner energy sources are available, helping to decrease your iPhone’s carbon footprint.
Clean Energy Charging is an option that can be selected in Settings> Battery> Battery Health & Charging. Under the Clean Energy Charging option, Apple says, “In your region, iPhone will try to reduce your carbon footprint by selectively charging when lower carbon emission electricity is available. The iPhone learns from your daily charging routine so it can reach full charge before you need to use it."
The iOS 16.1 will allow users to create an iCloud Shared Photo Library instead of a standard shared iCloud album.
This will let users to invite up to five other people, or six in total, to a library where they can all add, delete, edit the favourite photos and videos,
The Camera app would offer a new toggle which allows users to choose to send photos to the shared library automatically. So, if a user is on vacation and taking a bunch of pictures at the beach with a group of friends, everyone can snap pictures with the option turned on and see all of the photos in the shared album.
Once a user updates to iOS 16.1, her lock screen would feature Live Activities, which shows information from sports games, ride-sharing apps like Uber, or updates on a food delivery order. So, users might see how long it will take for dinner to arrive.
This feature will be most useful on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max which have always on displays so that users can flance to see new information.
The iOS 16.1 would add support for new Matter accessories to the Home app. This lets users control smart home accessories.
Matter is a new connectivity standard which is trying to make it easier to use all of smart home accessories. The idea is to let smart home devices connect with home hubs whether the hub is made by Apple, Google or Amazon.

From Monday, iPhone owners can subscribe to Fitness+. In iOS 16.1, Fitness+ is integrated with the Fitness app via a middle tab. Also, users without an Apple TV can stream content via AirPlay to compatible third-party devices as well as all AirPlay-enabled Roku devices.
To sweeten the offer, Apple is bringing music by Taylor Swift to Fitness+ as part of an Artist Spotlight series featuring Swift's newly released "Midnights" album.
iOs 16.1 will also allows users to control Matter-compatible smart home accessories in the Home app. Matter is supported by Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home. Via MacRumors, this update also brings Stage Manager multitasking to older iPad Pros as well as Clean Energy Charging for US-based iPhone owners.
The update will also let users share car, hotel room, and other keys in Apple Wallet using messaging apps such as Messages and WhatsApp.
