Poco X5 5G confirmed to launch in India on March 14 - Indiatimes.com

Poco, a spun-off brand of Xiaomi, is set to launch another smartphone – the Poco X5 – in India. The company confirmed in the teaser that Poco X5 will launch in India on March 14. The event is scheduled for 12 PM and will live streamed to the audience through YouTube.
The smartphone will join the Poco X5 Pro, launched in India last month.
Alongside the Poco X5 Pro, the company also launched the Poco X5, but only in the global markets. Now, the company is bringing a more affordable option to India.
In a teaser, Poco suggests that the X5 could be priced well below Rs 20,000. The smartphone will go on sale in India through Flipkart.

The Poco X5 features a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. Additionally, the smartphone has IP53 splash and dust resistance for durability.
Powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset, the Poco X5 has up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB with a microSD card. It runs MIUI 13 on top of Android 13 and has a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
The triple camera setup of the Poco X5 features a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the smartphone has a 13MP camera. Connectivity options include 5G SA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
The Poco X5 comes in Black, Green, and Blue colours.
The Poco X5 has a price tag of $249 (around Rs. 20,800) for the 6GB+128GB storage variant, while the 8GB+256GB storage option is priced at $299 (around Rs. 24,700).
