Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is here. Samsung has launched its latest Apple AirTag rival — Galaxy SmartTag 2 in India. The company claims that the Galaxy SmartTag 2 comes with an upgraded processor is more versatile and enables new and better ways of keeping track of your valuables. The tracker features a compact design and it offers various modes.

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 features
Galaxy SmartTag2 provides an improved Compass View feature that provides intuitive visual cues for directions. The feature improves the user experience by providing arrows to show the direction and distance of Galaxy SmartTag2 in relation to the user. This mode is available on any Ultra Wide Band (UWB) supported Galaxy smartphone such as the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
The Bluetooth tracker also comes with a new Lost Mode feature. This feature uses the NFC display of the device to register the user’s contact information via a message. With this, anyone who discovers an item with a Galaxy SmartTag2 attached can use his or her smartphone to scan the tag and see the owner’s message and contact information.
The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag 2 comes with the new Power Saving mode. With Power Saving mode, Galaxy SmartTag2’s battery now lasts up to 700 days, more than twice as compared to the previous Galaxy SmartTag models. Even in Normal mode, battery life is now extended to 500 days, a 50% increase on previous models.
